Every Friday morning I work with Grades 2, 3 and 4 for 50 minutes each, with the brief to be innovative. This has been implemented by my school as a result of my being selected as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert for 2017-2018.
Last year I participated in the Climate Action Project with my Grade 5 Library lessons and while it was a massive undertaking, it was an excellent learning opportunity for the students and also myself.
I had no hesitation accepting the title of Australian Ambassador for this project from the creator of both projects, Koen Timmers.
As I found last year, my time restraints with the classes affects my ability to have our students complete their pieces expressing relating to the topic matter.
