Upasana Kinra, a Psychologist and an educator is presently working as the Officiating Principal of Titiksha Public School, Rohini, New Delhi and a Consultant Trainer with The British Council. She has more than 13 years of experience working with students, teachers and parents. She has served as adjunct faculty, teaching Psychology classes including career exploration, relationships, stress management and assertive communication. Her areas of interest include teacher trainings, children counselling, parent-child interactions, study skills, transition and adjustment, stress/time/organization management, and students who experience a disability (ADHD, LD etc). She is a teacher trainer validated by The British Council, U.K. and conducts trainings for teachers on Embedding Core Skills in curriculum, Teacher as a researcher and Inclusive pedagogies. She has worked extensively in the area of curriculum development apart from many other good practices and innovative programs for issues like ‘Child safety’, ‘Bullying’, and ‘Gender discrimination’, ‘Teaching effectiveness’, ‘Classroom management’ and ‘Parenting styles’. Her underlying belief is in the dignity and worth of all people. .
