What is innovation? Shiga Prefectural Maibara Senior High School

Introducing some innovations you can find in Japan. Also, students mention adventage and disadvantage of driving innovations.

Week 2

After learning about UN Sustainable Development Goals at the office of Japan International Cooperation Agency focused on Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, and Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. As for goal 6, we made a prototype for the issue of water access and clean water.

One of the inventions we suggest is a drum that enables people to carrry water easily. While carrying (rolling on the way home), the water inside is filtered and is stocked in the container inside. The filtered water won’t run back due to the special valves put on the container. Arriving home and opening the side parts, people can take out the container filled with filtered clean water!
