I am a teacher from Ghana and passionate about education. I run a community-based organization called Every Child Along, an organization that seeks to improve literacy in rural communities of Ghana and as well ensure children's enrollment and retention in school. For my commitment toward improving education in Ghana, I have received a number of local and international honours. In 2014, I was one of Africa ViewPoint Journal’s “20 Under 34 Young African ChangeMakers.” In 2015, I won the Africa Youth Awards in Grassroots Transformation and became a Jury member for the award scheme since 2016. In 2016, my organization received a recognition as a finalist in the maiden Ghana StartUps Awards. I was also awarded Educom Award in 2017 as Education Support Worker and came as the 1st Runner-Up for the Inspirational Teacher Awards. I have also engaged in mentoring program for students in the secondary schools of Ghana and since since 2013 has mentored over 10,000 students across Ghana. This my roles in youth development was honored in 2017 by the SPiD-UP Africa.
