I am a middle school art teacher working in a Title one district in CT. I embraced the infusion of global citizenship in my art room and believe students need to understand the connection between art and culture/environment. They need to be informed about how the world works in order to make informed decisions and contribute positively to the world. I will be participating in the Fulbright ESD exchange program this spring as well as attending a workshop at the UN on SDGs next week.
