Today, we got stuck in to this week's topic: What is innovation? We all agreed that the potential of this week's assignment is enormous, as innovation means so many different things and there are a lot of good examples of innovation in our local community. We started our meeting off with a bang.
Everybody in our group contributed to coming up with ideas and suggestions. We spent over an hour discussing ways in which we could link the topic to current issues not only within our community, but also in our country, South Africa. We researched the history of innovation in our country, as well as the many ways to define innovation, amongst other things. We all walked out of school today with our minds buzzing with possibilities for the Innovation Project.
We can't wait to delve deeper into our assignment at our next meeting.
