One word: What does innovation mean to you...

Students in my class are continuing to develop an understanding of what innovation is and why it is important to help us develop tools and ideas to make the world a better place.  We made a one word video to describe our thinking.

Week 2

Guiding students and teachers, making alliances to carry out the second week and publicize our innovative project "The Water Recycler" Week quite active with the participation of students developing awareness and putting their skills in practice to solve real problems.

Water Recycler

The students focus on Goal 6, creating a brainstorm to solve real problems we have with the misuse of water, concentrated on creating a prototype where the water that you waste in the shower can be reused in the toilet, based on the Goal 17 we make an alliance with the Guatemalan Inventor

Brainstorming what innovation is.

This was a great lesson. Students worked in groups and discussed what innovation was. They came up with a list of inventions and then innovations that came from those inventions. One thing that stuck with me was that  one student said the Underground Railroad was innovative. WOW!
